Six years ago today, I was at the lowest point in my life. For all of you who know me, you know what I’m talking about: gangs, drugs, prison, and just plain old sinfulness. But at about 8 p.m. on September 13th, God reached down from heaven and rescued me. He put me in the Fresno County Jail, and that’s where I heard the Gospel and confessed that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. God had a plan for me; it involved me going to prison and then being released to Central Valley Teen Challenge. That’s where I received the discipleship I needed and became a man of God.

I am now on staff here at Central Valley Teen Challenge as a teacher/advisor, helping men like me find God. This month, we are having a 5K walk for recovery. It’s to help keep the doors of Teen Challenge open for men who need Jesus. And we need your help, so if you can, here is a link to sponsor me in the walk.
