Hi!

My name is Caylee. I am 22 years old and I attend the Teen Challenge Ministry Institute located in South Gate, California. Although my addiction to alcohol and smoking only lasted 6 months, I had been stuck in the grasp of depression, anger, anxiety, and suicidal idealization for over 10 years. Due to being bullied and becoming one myself I did not know how to open up to the ones that I cared about. Since being in the program since 2022 my life has changed for the better. Recently I had a minor setback and attended Bakersfield Teen Challenge as a restoration student for 2 months due to my depression overtaking my mind. Since coming back in March I can say that the fog of depression I had been trapped in for so long has been lifted off of me. I am the happiest I've been in a long time. I want to help others trapped in the grips of SI, depression and anxiety realize that there is hope out there and that hope is Jesus.
