Hello my name is Monica and I came to the Lord after a tragedy in 2022 I lost my 25 yr old son Lawrence to suicide. I also lost my older brother to suicide. And because I did not get the proper healing I carried that burden where my children suffered the oppression that had a hold of my peace. I came to Teen Challenge very broken and on the verge of death. I wanted to know why my life came to this but I numbed myself with drugs and alcohol because I didn’t want to know the answers. Jesus has become my peace and comfort and God has been answering my questions and I’m learning to depend on His strength to move on and now I want to be a disciple to give others the same peace that I now have and to seek God for help and salvation!
