HelIo friends and famliy!

I came to the doors of San Diego Teen Challenge on January 30th, 2016. I completed the Induction Phase of the year long program on May 23rd and graduated on January 15th 2017. I decided to do an apprenticeship at Orange County at the Timothy House which I do not complete. I left early and headed back to San Diego where I attempted to rejoin the sales team at my former Ford Dealership. Within 6 months I relapsed I crystal meth. After being sober for nearly 18 months, I went right back to where I started. After years of struggling off and on with crystal meth and other hard drugs, I finally made it back to California, back to San Diego where I ultimately ended back at the front doors of San Diego Teen Challenge on November 10th, 2021. I was faced with doing the whole year over again. And after I had accepted that as a real possibility the plans for me had changed and the administration had offered me a shorter Restoration program and within 30 days of that I was talking to the director about getting hired directly to staff. And to the exact date, on May 23rd, I was hired at San Diego Teen Challenge and this past May i just celebrated 3 years on staff. On paper I am an Administrative Assistant, but in my heart and what I get to do for TC is create. I teach the first class the guys in our program attend when they come through, I director and teach the choir, I do graphic design, shoot and edit video work for events, photography for our students and our staff to create lasting memories whether it is print or on social media. I get to extend my creative abilities to our students who are just coming out of their darkness and their addiction and I would not be able to do this without the love of Jesus Christ and his plan for my life leading back to Teen Challenge. Teen Challenge has never asked me to repay them for the year long program I completed in 2016. Today the cost for a student has sky-rocketed to $24,000!
