Nicole Romero

Hi, my name is Nicole, and I’m from Fresno, California. For many years, I struggled with addiction, using alcohol and drugs to cope with grief, pain, and life's challenges. What started as experimenting in my teens eventually became a cycle of addiction that I battled on and off for over a decade.

In 2021, after reaching a place of hopelessness, I knew I needed a complete change. God opened a door through Teen Challenge, a Christian discipleship program that helped me find freedom, healing, and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Since entering Teen Challenge on April 20, 2021, my life has been completely transformed. I completed the program, graduated from the Teen Challenge Ministry Institute, and now serve on staff, helping others find the same hope and freedom that was given to me.

Today, I am free from addiction, have experienced restored relationships with my family, and continue to walk in God's purpose for my life. I am grateful for the support of people who invest in recovery and life transformation. Thank you for partnering with programs like Teen Challenge that help make stories like mine possible!
