Gene Shrawder

Hi my name is Gene and I am attending Teen Challenge Ministry Institute in Los Angeles.  My journey with Teen Challenge began almost two years ago when I first came into the induction center very sick and having no hope for a future. After years of being stuck in a seemingly endless cycle drug and alcohol abuse I was at what felt like the end of my rope. 

But God had different plans for me! Since coming to Teen Challenge, I have a renewed hope in life based on a solid foundation I found in Jesus through the help and support this program offers.  I have restoration with my family and direction and true meaningful purpose in my life for the first time. Upon graduating I intend to spend my life in the ministry of Jesus Christ helping others get off the streets and back into a new life.
